Home from A.W.A. 2009!

Okay, so, you might be wondering why I haven't uploaded any art from AWA 2009, now that the con is over. Well, I apologize, but now that the Artist's Alley is in the Convention Center, there was no free electricity or wi-fi like we had last year. This means I couldn't scan any of the artwork, or upload it as I went along.

Sad, but true. Ah, well. On the plus side, several of my customers enthusiastically offered to scan the art I did for them. Hopefully they'll remember when they get home. =D

Anway, I had a great time, and plan to finish up some of my 'downtime doodles' from the con and post them up to Deviant when they're finished. The magic word for Anime Weekend Atlanta this year? Twi'lek!

Ahoy, Pete! It was nice seeing you again, as well! Sorry I didn't get to wander over and chat for more than a few minutes... it's a BIG alley these days. :)

I think I'm going to start bringing my sketch books to cons again... Saturday day was so dead, I would've had time for trades then. Maybe next year! :)

Anyway, the con was great. I enjoyed myself as always. Kinda miss the days of BBQ delivery on Saturday night, but you can't have everything! Hope you got some traffic back in that corner of yours. :)

Hey there James,

Traffic wasn't as heavy as I had liked, though I had 2 gentlemen who kept me real busy in commissions. Though not a big money con (I wasn't expecting much at all, since I'm not really anime), it was a HELL of a time, and I hope to do it again next year.

And by all means, bring yer' sketch book dude! We need to jam sometime on something!
