We'll be at Gen-con next week, August 5th through the 8th. I'll be at the Anime Artist Alley, sketching my heart out. If everything goes according to plan, Dan will be at my side transforming my pencils into awesome color CG artwork *RIGHT THERE AT THE CON!!!*

This weekend is Anime Weekend Atlanta!
My friend Dan Houser and I will be doing arts for people. It will be fun!

I have lots of awesome stuff just coming up around the corner with Vigilance Press, but I've been too busy to update here as often as I should... sorry.

No art today (Dragon Con is taking up most of my time), but I did find time to put together a podcast with author Lucien Soulban! Check it out via our Vigilance Press website... he's giving away prizes in the form of Mutants and Masterminds books, and we're adding some PDF downloads for additional prizes!

Gearing up for the next big convention stop: GEN Con Indy!
I can't wait to see all my Gen Con friends, and team up with Dan Houser for some more artworks! We'll be bringing Dan's printer and cranking out some cool color art again. For those who can't see us there, we'll be teaming up again for AWA this year as well!
This year's Gen Con will be special, because it'll be the first year I show up representing Vigilance Press as owner and publisher. I'm hoping to grab a table in the dealer's room for next year, but this year Dan and I will be once again in the Anime Artist's Alley in the hotel across from the Dealer's Room. Check your Gen Con m
Stalking the Halls at Anime University
JAFAX's Theme this year is "Anime University." I've been attending JAFAX here in Michigan for the past 12 years or so, and it never gets old.
This year, however, I'm not trying to sell my own wares, I'm scouting other artists. It's a strange feeling, walking through the Artist's Alley and scouting other people's art. I'm used to giving critiques and doing art trades and so forth, but this year I'm critically appraising people and gauging whether I think they'd be a good fit for a Vigilance Press product. I almost feel like an undercover agent or a truant officer, spying on all these hopefuls and trying to pick the ones who are ready to step
